Each year, the Chief of the National Guard Bureau provides a policy statement that includes travel and funding guidance for federal funding being used to attend the EANGUS Conference. This policy gives the states the authority to spend federal funds on travel for selected members of the National Guard to attend the EANGUS conference while in an official duty status. The policy includes authorized amounts per person, administrative absence guidelines, and some pay and allowance options for units to take.
