Virginia Women Veterans Ceremony - Richmond, VA, March 20, 2025, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM EST

To commemorate Women Veterans Week in Virginia, the Virginia Department of Veterans Services (DVS) will host a special Honoring Women Veterans ceremony and celebratory luncheon at the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond on Thursday, March 20 commencing at 10 a.m.  The event will include guest speakers, tributes to women veterans, the presentation of special lapel pins, and other activities to connect and uplift the women veteran community and to inspire new generations of women to serve in the U.S. military.

Ohio Women Veterans Forum - Columbus, OH, March 21, 2025, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM EST

In recognition of Women’s History Month, the Ohio Department of Veterans Services (ODVS) will host a Women Veterans Forum on Friday, March 21, in the Atrium of the Ohio Statehouse (1 Capitol Square, Columbus, OH 43215). The event, which is free and open to the public, will begin at 11 a.m. and is scheduled to run for about an hour.

This year’s theme, titled “Women Veterans Leading the Way,” will focus on the stories of former service members who have ventured into private business successes following their military careers, including:

Women's Military History Week Social and Panel Discussion - Forest Grove, OR, March 22, 2025, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Women’s Military History Week is recognized nationwide the third week every March as part of March’s commemoration of Women History month. Pacific University, in partnership with the Oregon Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Washington County Disability, Aging and Veteran Services, will be hosting a panel discussion on this year’s theme, “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations.” Please join us for light refreshments and panel on March 22nd at 10 am.

ODVA’s “I Am Not Invisible” exhibit, as well as women military uniforms from all eras of service will be on display on the Forest Grove Pacific Campus March 16th – March 22nd.

2025 Women Veterans Trailblazers Celebration - Mather, CA, March 29, 2025, 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) Homecoming Celebration & Fly-In - Sweetwater, TX, April 25-26, 2025, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

On Friday and Saturday, tour the Museum and learn more about the WASP from our exhibits and special guest authors and speakers. Take a leap back in time with live re-enactors.
