The Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) community relies heavily on secure communication for operations. However, the current tactical chat systems in use are outdated, leading to security vulnerabilities and operational inefficiencies. The integration of a modern, secure tactical chat system would significantly enhance the security, effectiveness, and operational capabilities of the RPA community. This modernization effort is critical to maintaining the integrity of RPA operations and ensuring that they meet the demands of modern warfare.

The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States recommends to the Congress of the United States legislation in support of implementing secure tactical chat communication systems for the RPA community.
