Calls on Congress to provide the same level of benefits for National Guard and Reserve veterans as Active Duty counterparts and veterans of previous era conflicts.

This is a recommendation for Congress to enact laws to provide the same level of benefits to every National Guard veteran, regardless of the dates or theater of operations of their military service, from the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as those veterans from previous era conflicts, allowing members of the National Guard who have served honorably to qualify for receipt of retired pay and benefits consistent with active components.

The Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States urges the Congress of the United States to enact legislation to provide the same benefits to every National Guard veteran consistent with active components.
